We are a team of specialist nurses and assistant practitioners. We support children and young people with bladder and bowel problems. We help you manage issues like constipation, soiling, daytime wetting, and bedwetting. We also support toilet training for children with additional needs.
If your child is wetting during the day or wetting the bed, the first step is to join a Toileting Support online session. This session gives practical advice to try at home for 12 weeks. It is the first part of your child's treatment. If your child still needs support after 12 weeks, the Healthy Families Team will discuss the next steps and refer them to the right service if needed. If your GP is in North East Hampshire you can contact you School Nurse for onward referral.
If your child has constipation or soiling, please see your GP. They can assess your child and refer them to our service if needed.
If your child has additional needs and needs help with toilet training, a professional who works with your family can make a referral for support.
