Single Point of Access (SPA)

For:

We are your single point of contact when you need help or have a question. We check your enquiry and send it to the right service so you can get support as quickly as possible. Our business administration hub helps services run smoothly so you can get the care you need without having to tell your story more than once.

About the team

We are your single point of access to services. Our administrative team receive, check, and prioritise your enquiry to make sure it goes to the right service without delay. We help you get support quickly and safely, while making your experience clear and easy to follow.

We support access to a range of services, including 0–19 services, therapy services, continence, transfer to advice lines, the occupational therapy (OT) helpline, developmental paediatrics, the Parent-Infant Relationship Service, and tongue-tie services.

Who this service is for

We can usually help if:

  • You are a parent or carer with a question about your child’s care
  • You are a professional making a referral or enquiry
  • You need help finding the right service for a child or young person
  • You want your enquiry checked and sent to the correct team
  • You are not sure where to go for support

We may not be the right service if:

  • You need urgent medical help (please contact 999, NHS 111, or your GP)
  • You already know the service you need and can contact them directly
  • Your request is not about accessing services or making a referral
  • You are looking for treatment or care directly (we help manage enquiries and referrals, not provide care)
