Asthma Awareness Training

For:

Asthma Awareness Training helps people understand asthma, how it affects breathing, and what to do when someone is having symptoms or an asthma attack. This training covers common triggers, signs to look out for, and how to respond safely and quickly, including the correct use of inhalers and emergency action plans. It is suitable for anyone supporting children or adults with asthma and aims to build confidence in managing the condition in everyday settings.

About this service

We recommend that school staff complete this e-learning module to improve their understanding and confidence in supporting children and young people with asthma. The training is aligned with the National Capability Framework and provides practical guidance to help staff respond safely and effectively in an educational setting.
